is this volunteering?

Good Morning friends,

How you define volunteering? Majority of people might come up with answer that when we help someone physically than it is going to consider volunteering. I do agree with this meaning of volunteering.

I like to share this live event which happens between me and my friend. It was Thursday evening.  I come to know on Wednesday that one of my friends who face a big loss in stock market is mentally disturb and he is under depression. I decided to spend my Thursday evening with him. I finish my work at office early and I went to him. When I see him I found him like a live dead body. He was not react my presence. I talk with him and he was not replying nor expressing any expresson with my talk to him. I thought and tell my self that time this is the time when he needs me more. I must stay with him.

I started talking with him with he being non responsive. In an  hour he started giving me response. It takes me 4 hour to bring him back to normal mind condition but thank god I was able to do that. It really long story what I talk and how I talk. At end he was ok and normal. Than I say good night to him and back home. When I was in bed I was thinking what we should call to what I did?

A human was in need of another human- a human spend time with another human with positive thought in mind, isn’t its Volunteering? I like to ask my reads too, what you call the thing I did. Does it volunteering or charity?

Good Purpose of my Night Journey

Good morning friends.  Busy day with my work in the office.  I have to finish all this work before my going to matar tonight.  We will live tonight for the free early morning medical camp.  I want to start as early as possible so that before the day ends everyone will be  given their proper medications and treatment. If there will be a time for me to give a good shot of all those people there.  I want to have the memory of that volunteering whenever I have to do that.  After my 14 days busy working, my volunteering activities keeps me motivating.  It’s a very good feeling a felt after that tired work.  Just looking at the faces of every people after their treatment, makes me feel happy.  It’s a different feelings when you can help many people.

Manav Parivar is working at matar for free medical camp twice a week. As I have mentioned to you all in the past that in a single day they are having more than 9000 patient and they give free food to around 18000 people. From January 25, 2009 they have started giving free education to the Class XII students. Class XII is the most crucial stage for any student’s life.   as on the basis of that they are going to get admission on their life carrier colleges.

bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

Manav Parivar started teaching classes for class XII students. Around 63 students take part on that. Class XII students are going to have their Final exams around March 15, 2009. So, all the participants will  have minimum 4 sessions. We hope it boost their knowledges as well as confidence.

The purpose  of this free education for the youth is to help the upcoming generation.  And this will really be  a noble one. Manav Parivar wants to give a High Standard education for those village students. Teachers from very known and popular schools will give their volunteering service to teach all these youth. It is really amazing to think that a metro city teachers teaching the  village students… isn’t it a best way to help? These students from Matar, kheda, nadiyad village will have a direct training and teaching from Ahmadabad most known school teachers. It’s really excellent effort manav parivar started and I wish all the best luck.
