A talk on HDTV

I and my friends were talking about volunteering and seva at matar medical camp. We are having more than 20000 visitors in our single day free medical camp and on an average each patients need to wait for 60-90 minutes in the queue. So, we were thinking to use this 60-90 minute waiting period to educate people on health. It includes Individual health as well as general health awareness.

Few volunteer recommend to have stand alone visual display. But it’s static and it requires lot efforts to change the display contain and pictures. Someone suggest that we should go with TV with on playing videos on it. One volunteer suggests that we should go with Cheap HDTV. We all did not know anything about HDTV. We ask him to explain us what is it and how it works?

He told us that HDTV is High definition television which is a digital television broadcasting system with higher resolution than traditional television system. High definition television is the highest form of digital television. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is the same as a movie theater screen. This is possibly HD’s biggest selling point. The other is the resolution. High definition is the best available picture on a television. Instead of using the conventional 576 lines to plot a TV picture, HDTV uses 720 or 1080 lines.

He added that, With HDTV, we could also play movies in their original widescreen format without the letterbox “black bars” that some people find annoying. Cheap HDTV is available in the market. Even we can buy Cheap HDTV online. High Definition Television offers the highest quality picture available in the world of home entertainment. In addition, the pixels in each of those lines are closer. This results in a hugely improved picture quality, clarity and color definition. It was nice to know about HDTV from him.

Recharge yourself with meditation

Good Evening Friends,

I was reading times of India and I like following article so nice. It says that through meditation we can overcome life’s stresses and strains and discover the key to relaxation and tranquility. I 100% agree with what the author is saying. I believe when ever we are dong anything with 100% involvement that action become meditation and once we are in stage of meditation we starts recharging our self from within. Read the article below.

Murphy’s Law says that if anything can go wrong, it will go wrong. Every time we solve one problem, a new one springs up. We may be struggling financially, trying to make ends meet. Through meditation we can overcome life’s stresses and strains and discover the key to relaxation and tranquility

A day finally comes when we get a raise, and then we find our car has broken down, and the extra money has to go for repairs or for new car payments. When we settle that problem, someone in our family may fall ill. Along with that, we may find that we have a problem in our relationship with one of our colleagues. While that is being straightened out, something else goes wrong and so the cycle continues.

Maybe no one is free of problems, but the least we can do is to ensure that we don’t fret and worry about them. The pressures of life are so great that they affect us physically and mentally.

The solution is not to let out our anger by fighting back or running away. Those reactions can create still more problems for us in our relationships. We need to find some acceptable way to defuse tensions.

We continue our talk in next post. Wait please.

Virtual Volunteering

Good Morning friends,

If we keep our self busy, we never come to know how fast time is running out of our hand. I talk with you all in last post to write on manav parivar’s medical camp. My schedules not allowed me to write it. We are close to IInd Sunday of October. Day after tomorrow we will have medical camp.

I was reading different article on volunteering and volunteers. Virtual Volunteering I found interest term and I read more on that. Virtual volunteering is a term describing a volunteer who completes tasks, in whole or in part, offsite from the organization being assisted, using the Internet and a home, school, telecenter or work computer.

Virtual volunteering is also known as online volunteering, cyber service, telementoring, and teletutoring, and various other names. Virtual volunteering is similar to telecommuting, except that, instead of online employees who are paid, these are online volunteers who are not paid.

More on virtual volunteering in next post.
